Her other credits include appearing in several movies, for example, 'The Word Is Not Enough', "Wild Things', Starship Troopers' and 'Love Actually', to name a few. Born in Downers Grove, Illinois, to a father who was a phone engineer and a cafe owner mother. Richards grew up living in Downers Grove and Mokena alongside her sister Michelle. El Camino High School in Downers Grove North High School was her education. Following graduation from high school began working as a model. She also traveled across famous cities like Paris, Tokyo, and New York to do photo shoots as well as commercials. She eventually ventured into the acting world. As a lover of animals, Richards is a part of a number of organizations that help to improve the lives of animals. Richards also has a passion for the animals and pets she cared for for a long time.
